The resort has 30 very comfortable bungalows built on stilts and facing the sea, each containing a master bedroom, living room, private bathroom plus a large veranda to watch the waves gently washing the beach and enjoy the marvelous sunsets.

We encourage guests to chill out. There are plenty of places to close your eyes and simply relax: a large stretch of deserted beach, the comfortable sun loungers next to the swimming pool, or the pleasurable experience of a soothing massage in the Spa. There’s even a space under each bungalow fitted with hammocks for a restful time-out away from the sun.

For those with the urge to explore, every bungalow has its own bicycles for guests to ride around the island and visit our only neighbours, a fishing village of friendly sea gypsies. If guests ask, the villagers will show them how to paint batik or catch fish on their boats. This offers a fascinating glimpse of their simple way of life. Alternatively, guests can paddle off in one of the resort’s kayaks through the island’s mangrove forest, or ask the resort to arrange a diving/ snorkeling trip to the colouful coral reefs on nearby Poda and Chicken islands.

And when the sun goes down, there’s great seafood to be eaten in our five-star restaurant, cool drinks and music in the Beach Bar, or movies and music to choose at the resort library for playing on the in-room entertainment system.

Or guests can relax some more, stroll along the moonlit beach, and be pleased to escape from the stress of the modern-day world.
